New algorithm helps scientists reduce protein aggregation
Research supported by the CLARA project has contributed to the development of AggreProt, a novel artificial intelligence-based tool that accurately identifies protein regions prone to aggregation, helping scientists improve proteins for applications in biotechnology, environmental protection, and medicine. Developed by researchers from IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center in collaboration with Masaryk University and the International Clinical Research Centre, the deep learning predictor was experimentally validated, with the results published in the prestigious journal Communications Chemistry.
