The VentureLab Ecosystem

Our primary engine for business acceleration is VentureLab, a dedicated deep-tech incubator established as a joint venture between INDRC/CLARA, research partners, and private sector experts (IPL Ventures). Unlike traditional accelerators, VentureLab is tailored for "Tough Tech" projects with high capital requirements and often long development cycles. VentureLab collaborates with an independent deep tech VC fund focused on pre-seed and seed financing (up to €1M per project), ensuring our most promising innovations have the capital to scale.

Commercialization Roadmap

We follow a structured pathway to ensure our Key Exploitable Results (KERs) achieve maximum market impact. We guide spinoutsfrom the lab to the market through commercial validation, IP hardening, interim management, and project coordination, esp.:

  • Identification & Protection: Utilizing the Innovation Radar methodology to assess and manage innovation potential, maturity, and market readiness before and after protection.
  • Licensing & Spin-offs: We offer flexible models ranging from open-source licensing for research communities to exclusive licensing and full spin-off creation for commercial ventures.
