

To foster ongoing dialogue, open communication across sectors and a collaborative culture, INDRC and CIIRC CTU, in cooperation with INPACE - Indo-Pacific European Hub for Digital Partnerships, are pleased to organise a closed workshop on “Trusted AI in Action: Validation Metrics for Medical Device Artificial Intelligence”.
This workshop has received the formal auspices of the AI Impact Summit India and will take place as an official pre-summit event under the title “Trusted AI for Bharat & Czechia: Safety, Accountability, and Human-Centric Innovation”.
The ambition of this workshop is to initiate a structured public–private dialogue that may culminate in the development of a position paper addressed to public authorities and leveraging the results to create a broader impact among stakeholders in Czechia, the EU, and India.

The objective of this meeting is to initiate an expert dialogue on measurable indicators and guidelines to:
- Assess the applicability of the Medical Device Regulation (MDR) for respective AI systems, including appropriate risk classification.
- Set metrics and validate the trustworthiness and robustness of such AI systems.
The event is accessible only upon invitation. It will be held in hybrid format (MST) and in person at the premises of CIIRC CTU, Jugoslávských partyzánů 1580/3, Prague, Building A, 10th Floor.
