Parking nearby

There may be limited parking available near CIIRC CTU, so it's advisable to check for nearby parking options or consider using public transport for the final leg of your journey. 

A larger public parking lot is located next to the building towards the square, in Šolínova Street. To get there, you must turn left just after leaving the roundabout.

By Public Transport

From the Main Railway Station (Praha Hlavní nádraží):

The easiest way is to take tram number 26 (the tram stop is located in Bolzanova Street – get from the station building and turn right, walk 2 minutes to the edge of the surrounding park) towards Divoká Šárka/Dědina and exit at Vítězné náměstí

Journey time: 17- 20 min. Fare: 1,2 EUR / 30 CZK (buy a short-term ticket for the “0, P” zone)

The fastest option is to take the Metro/Underground (with one transfer):

Take Metro Line C (the red line) from Hlavní nádraží (Main Station) towards Nádraží Holešovice. Get off at the right, the next stop at “Muzeum”. Transfer to Metro Line A: At Muzeum, transfer to Metro Line A (the green line) towards Nemocnice Motol. Get off at Dejvická (4 stops in between).

Journey time: 15 min. Fare: 1,2 EUR / 30 CZK (a short-term ticket for the “0, P” zone)

Public Transport Fares

From Prague Václav Havel Airport:

Take the trolleybus number 59 (the bus stop is located directly in front of the terminals 1 and 2) to Nádraží Veleslavín. Change here and take Line A underground in the direction of Depo Hostivař and exit at Dejvická (1 stop in between).

Journey time: 25-35 min. Fare: approx. EUR 1,2 EUR / 30 CZK (a short-term local ticket for the “P” zone)

By Uber or Bolt: The price ranges from 400 to 600 CZK (15-25 EUR) and the ride lasts approximately 40 minutes, depending on traffic.

By Car

From the North (e.g., Dresden, Germany):

A4 to A13: Take the A4 highway towards Prague. A13 to D8: Merge onto D8 highway towards Prague. Follow signs for E55/D8: Continue on D8, which will turn into Štěrboholská spojka. Continue to Dejvická. Arrive at CIIRC: Turn onto Jugoslávských partyzánů at the roundabout.

From the South/East (e.g. Brno/ Vienna, Austria):

A1 to D1: Take the A1 highway northbound to join D1 highway towards Prague. Continue on D1: Follow D1 until you reach the exit for Praha 5 - Zličín. Follow signs for Praha 6: Merge onto Radlická and continue onto Jižní spojka and Dejvická.

From the West (e.g., Pilsen/Nürnberg, Germany):

D5 to Prague: Take the D5 highway towards Prague. Continue on the ring road: Merge onto Pražský okruh (Ring Road). Follow signs for D6: Take the exit for D6 towards Karlovy Vary. Merge onto D7: Continue until you reach the exit for Praha 6, Dejvická.

From the direction of Václav Havel Airport Prague:

Leave the airport on Aviatická and after 1 km take a slight right onto Lipská. Drive for 2 km and then take the exit towards "Praha-centrum/Ruzyně”. Turn right onto K Letišti. Continue on Evropská for 7-8 km. Get to the roundabout and take the third exit. The CIIRC Building is on the left site.
