The business delegation accompanying Minister Havlíček is organized by the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic (SP ČR) under the leadership of its president, Jan Rafaj, in cooperation with the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi, the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Mumbai, and the Czech-Indian Chamber of Commerce.
The official business mission
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the ministerial mission aims to help Czech companies enter and grow in the Indian market, open new business opportunities, and strengthen economic cooperation between Czechia and India. Minister Karel Havlíček emphasized that the focus is on concrete business, with strong potential in transport, energy, engineering, modern technologies, and aviation, and that personal meetings and direct contacts are essential for success in India.
The ministerial mission features three business forums organized in cooperation with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). They will give Czech companies space for direct B2B meetings with Indian partners, new business contacts, and presentations of Czech technologies and know-how. Jan Rafaj of SP ČR noted that the delegation reflects the diversity and innovation potential of Czech industry, spanning aviation and defense, transport, engineering, manufacturing, environmental and digital technologies, finance, research, and science.
