13th Session of India–Czech Republic - the Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation (JCEC) organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and co-chaired by Shri Jitin Prasada, Union Minister of State for the Ministry of Commerce & Industry of the Republic of India, in Prague, April 23, 2026.
The Joint Economic Commission (JCEC) between India and the Czech Republic was a high-level bilateral meeting, co-chaired by top government officials and opened by Jan Sechter, Vice Minister, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.
Opening remarks were given by Jitin Prasada, Union Minister of State for the Ministry of Commerce & Industry of the Republic of India, Raveesh Kumar, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Czech Republic, and Puneet Dalmia, Vice President, FICC.
This meeting brought together key stakeholders from ministries, trade bodies, academia, and industry.
Operating at the government- to- government level and directly influencing policy directions, the meeting carried significant importance in shaping investment, trade, economic cooperation, and Innovation acceleration.
Vít Dočkal, PhD, INDRC Director & CLARA Supervisory Board Chair, briefly took the floor at the intergovernmental commission and presented the CLARA project and Czech-IndoPacific Impact Accelerator (CZACRA).
