Doc. Vít Vondrák
Short bio
Vít Vondrák is a Czech mathematician and an expert in supercomputing and parallel programming. He has served for 9 years as the Managing Director of the IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center at VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, where he leads a team of 200 employees.
He has played a key role in building and developing both supercomputing and quantum infrastructure in the Czech Republic. He actively collaborates with other supercomputing centers across Europe and overseas and is a member of European initiatives in the fields of HPC and AI.
