The program will offer three parts, whereas the CLARA Annual Meeting is organised as an internal event for CLARA teams and their guests only. Professionals, stakeholders, as well as the general public are invited to join the two public parts of the CLARA Days (free of charge, upon registration), i.e CLARA Symposium, the first scientific conference organised by CLARA, and Young AI Research Forum, a second edition of the event for junior researchers and students, organised in collaboration with prg.ai and RICAIP Centre.
CLARA Days is CLARA's contribution to the nationwide AI Days 2025 (www.dny.ai), a Czech Republic-wide initiative aimed at broadening awareness of AI across academia, business, civil society, and the general public. With the invited participation of an academic and student delegation from Lviv, Ukraine, CLARA Days will also strengthen international collaboration and capacity building.
The working language for all parts of the program is English.

CLARA Symposium 2025
As the first scientific conference organized by CLARA partners, the CLARA Symposium 2025 will take place from Tuesday noon until Wednesday afternoon. The main organisers are the International Neurodegenerative Disorders Research Center (INDRC) and the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics (CIIRC CTU), with the support of all CLARA partners.
The CLARA Symposium will bring together leading scientists, industry experts, policymakers, and students. The symposium will present CLARA’s research strategy and long-term vision, foster international collaboration, and open new joint research directions to address global health challenges such as neurodegeneration and dementia. Its ambition is to connect the dots representing the wealth of information we already have about dementia-Alzheimer syndrome, using disruptive technologies and methods.
The symposium will feature keynote lectures by distinguished speakers, including:
- Prof. Michal Rosen-Zvi, IBM Research, Israel (remotely)
- Dr. Ira Ronit Hebold Haraldsen, Oslo University Hospital, Norway
- Dr. Adam J Schwarz., GE Healthcare, USA
and many more
CLARA's approach and progress will be presented within the contributions from CLARA experts such as Josef Šivic (CIIRC CTU), Jiří Damborský (ICRC, MUNI), Ara Khachaturian and Jean-Marie C. Bouteiller (both INDRC), Ninon Burgos and Ollivier Colliot (both Paris Brain Institute), Vít Vondrák (IT4Innovations, VSB-TUO), and many more.
The CLARA Symposium will conclude with the first high-level quadruple helix roundtable, fostering dialogue across academia, industry, government, and society on responsible AI in healthcare. This session, entitled “AI & Brain Health: Building Trust through Collaboration across Sectors”, will be held on Wednesday, 12 November, from 13:30 to 15:00.
Young AI Research Forum 2025
For those interested in student and early-career engagement, the Young AI Research Forum will follow on 12 November from 15:30 to 20:00. It will feature interactive sessions, poster presentations, short pitches, and the launch of the first edition of the CLARA Young Innovator Award 2026. Young AI Research Forum strives to provide an interesting opportunity not only to ML/AI PhD students and junior researchers but also to undergraduate students with an interest in research careers from across Czech academic institutions to delve deeper into topics that are relevant to all. Whether it’s developing a strong research brand, collaborating with industry or addressing global challenges exacerbated by the use of AI technologies towards responsible AI research.
This event is organised by CIIRC CTU/RICAIP Testbed Prague and prg.ai initiative, with the support of all CLARA partners.
